Guardians Of The Galaxy marked a return to the top of the international box office this weekend, thanks in large part to China — where its local title translates to Interplanetary Unusual Attacking Team, helmer James Gunn tweeted earlier this month. The Disney/Marvel space hit now has $69M there and was given a slightly wider berth than other Hollywood movies that are going out this month: GOTG opened on Oct 10 and will have had 11 days in the market before Hercules muscles in on Oct 21, followed in rapid succession by The Maze Runner on Oct 28 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Oct 31. The French-produced Lucy also has an Oct 24 release to further complicate matters.
