Taylor Swift Named 2012’s Most Charitable Star

Tis the season for pop star charity work.

DoSomething.org named Taylor Swift its top “celeb gone good” for 2012, citing the singer’s $4 million donation to the Country Hall of Fame Museum and her Ripple of Hope Award, a charity honor from the Robert F. Kennedy Center that Swift became the youngest person to receive.

DoSomething’s list’s musician-heavy top 10 also included Miley Cyrus (No. 2), Lady Gaga (No. 4), Justin Bieber (No. 5), Pink (No. 7) and Selena Gomez (No. 9).

Missing from the list: Rihanna, who made a $100,000 food bank donation in November for Hurricane Sandy relief and just announced a $1.75 million contribution to a Barbados hospital.
